Christmas 2010: Announced to our families that we are going to pursue Ethiopian adoption.
1/3-18/2011: Researched agencies. narrowed down to four.
1/19/2011: Made the decision to go with All God's Children International (AGCI), filled out pre-application
1/20/2011: Pre-application approved. Spoke with AGCI rep.
1/27/2011: Submitted formal application.
4/18/2011: Finally got down to business and submitted the missing supporting documents AGCI required. Having surgery sorta slowed things down. :)
4/19/2011: Anxiously awaiting an email from AGCI to see if we are approved for the Ethiopia program!!!
May, 2011: Ran into some issues with our finances and the agency requirements. Waited and prayed.
June, 2011: Switched agencies and submitted application to Holt International.
July--August, 2011: Worked on homestudy paperwork.
September 9, 2011: All homestudy paperwork submitted, first homestudy visit. It went so well!
September 23, 2011: Second homestudy visit scheduled.
