I have opened an Etsy shop--Home to Me Handmades--where the proceeds of whatever is sold goes straight into our adoption fund.  We're not doing any other types of fundraising,  but I thought this would be a way for me to sell some of the things I really love to make (that are currently piling up with nowhere to go!)
I have some knitted and other handmade items listed, but I want to draw your attention to my Ethiopia necklace. 

I made one of these for myself and received several comments about it, so I thought--why not make it available for some other folks who are adopting??  :)

I don't get to boast of a growing belly like an expectant mother does during pregnancy, so this is a way to start a conversation about how we're hoping to expand our family by adding a precious child(ren) in need of family.
