::One last look at the nursery::

(No, the baby is not here yet. We're still waiting.)

:::

We put together the last piece of furniture for the nursery (and by "we," I of course mean William), which was a cute little chest of drawers, courtesy of William's dad and step-mom. Thanks, guys! It looks great!

We had to rearrage the furniture to get everything to fit. We're still missing curtians and a few odds and ends like that, but for now, it's pretty cute.

We're still on pins and needles, but are trying to be patient.

Keep us in your prayers!! If the baby could see this nursery, he would know it's okay to come now. ;)

XOXO

Your nursery looks great! Baby Boy will love his new room! Hang in there. I know it probably feels like he is taking his own sweet time, but the longer he is in the stronger his lungs and everything else will be once he is in the real world. We can't wait to get the news that you are on your way to meet him!

Glenna, I am right there with you today! Our BM is due TODAY and no call yet. I just wish I knew what was going on. This waiting thing is very hard. I'm actually feeling good that we weren't picked by someone who still had a few months... can you imagine? Our nursery is as ready as can be for now, and we are packed too... praying for you guys as well as us that our calls come soon and healthy baby boys aren't far after that!!

Hi Glenna,

My name is Laura and I am a good friend of Rebekah (Heart Cries)...I found your blog through her's. Just wanted you to know that your story is BEAUTIFUL and, although I don't know you, I'm praying all goes very smoothly with bringing home your baby.

If your nursery wasn't perfect already...Wow! I like the arrangement even better!!!
As far as the whole "pins and needles" thing, I recommend eating something salty (like Lays potato chips), followed by something sweet (maybe half a bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough or a bag of Reeses miniature cups). Even better if you do this with a friend (call me!).

I'm here from "Hope & Despair" by way of Lost & Found. Roundabout, huh? I LOVE the nursery. It is absolutely beautiful. The color makes it just funky enough to be unique, but allows it to keep a very clean and crisp feeling. Can't wait to hear that you have a baby to put in it!!

I'm so excited for you! I hope you're able to rest in the next few days til the baby comes. Books, matinees, and swimming pools sound nice! The quiet before the storm--but in this case, a really amazing storm!

Your nursery looks awesome! I can't believe how quickly you all pulled everything together, and it is all stuff that we took months to work on-you all are so on top of things! I know you are ready for that little guy to get here! Hang in there-he'll be here before you know it, if he is not already here by the time I've left this comment! :)

WHAT IS GOING ON!!??
she must be 38+ weeks by now!!

of COURSE she goes the LONGEST of any pregnancy when an adoption hangs in the balance!!!

any updates at all??

I just know you are going to get your new son when we are at camp! We will probably have no internet there....so we will be without news! That's ok; just know I am praying for you every day, and for your little one.
